Let&#8217;s call this friend &#8220;Ruben&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I will be riding wingman. Shotgun would mean I was just riding. Not so. I am driving in shifts with Ruben in hopes to get the truck back by Saturday evening.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s approximately 1900 miles and at this point, depending on weather, we are not sure exactly which route we will take, though through Grand Junction to Amarillo and I-40 will most likely be the smartest more scenic route.<\/p>\n<p>At the moment I am sitting on Flight 195 waiting to depart to Phoenix for a layover.
