Which actually took us past Pike&#8217;s Peak (Photos). It did set us back a few hours so we stopped at the Road House. Ruben restored his energy with a steak and tater.<\/p>\n<p>At this point I had a problem with bouciness of the truck and was a bit aggravated, a little motion-sickened, and tired. Popped two Dramamine and slept off and on to Amarillo.<\/p>\n<p>Yep, Amarillo. It&#8217;s not as far as planned but we will still use this last day for an all out pedal-to-the-medal marathon&#8230; 18 hours to go.<\/p>\n<p>BTW&#8230; the two bumped mountain is not Pike&#8217;s Peak but something that made Rube and I chuckle.
