Holy Big RV Batman!

Got it. And it’s long! (Liam, Darren, Carr, Jim, Dave and Nicole… enter crude joke here)

I’ll have to do a video and post it. It’s a soon-to-be refurbished 2006, 30 foot model. At $30/day, free 1500 miles, no drop fee… it’s a great deal! And the Cruise America folks were really nice and helpful. Totally recommended.

Now off to Walmart to get supplies and food.

Bizarro World

Getting off the plane you start “seeing” people you know… or similarities of the people you know in your world. So I have this theory (which isn’t an original thought but stick with me I’m riffing) that with enough distance between locations a person can have a similar. And that location mimics the one you are in… I.e “that person looks just like… and that person could be so-and-so!”

You could even go as far as applying the Bizarro World theme to it and add personality traits… opposite or not. For those that just got lost, find your way to a Seinfeld fan or Superman comic reader.

Maybe I’m just hungry?

Either way, here’s a normal picture of Becca on BART, entitled “Becca does BART”.

Denver Hop

20130228-081506.jpg

Hopping is not recommended on ice or in snow, but if required should be done with care.

One of the ladies referred to in the previous post asked what that white stuff was on the ground as we flew over. Thank goodness she asked before Becca had the chance. 🙂 The response was “white sands from the Jamaican Islands”.

To add to that, we ended the flight to a live parody called “These Are a Few of Our Least Favorite Things”. Southwest did a great job. It’s a good first experience.

Onward to SFO.

Bags Fly Free

But we don’t. And it was amazing all the people with unnecessary carry-ons. The attendants kept reminding folks “… fly free.”

In flight entertainment is a flight attendant by the name of Alex, but prefers to go by “Seal” for which he does resemble. He had the ladies across from us ROFIALTAO-ing.

Next stop, Mile-High!

Preface

So, with the recommendation from a friend at work (thanks Scott) we got an airport hotel. He recommended leaving from there instead of East Bumble where we live. gives us an extra hour of sleep.

Coupon Queen Becca (pronounced COO-pin) got a deal at the Crown Plaza for 50% off. Nice deal.

The first stop… well, let’s call it waypoint “0” instead of “1”. Next is Denver for a turbo layover of 40 minutes. Let’s hope the flight is on time and the underbelly dudes transfer our checked.

But first, off to nap and onward we go. Good night.
